RevGov, sinupalpal ng military official at mga senador

TINUTULAN ng mataas na opisyal ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang pagsusulong ng revolutionary government habang iginiit ng mga senador na hindi ito sagot sa Covid 19 pandemic.

Sa confirmaton hearing ng Commission on Appointments (CA), sinabi ni AFP Southern Luzon Command chief Maj. Gen. Antonio Parlade na tutol sila sinasabing revolutionary government ng pro-Duterte group.

“I’m not very familiar with that group but I don’t believe in a revolutionary government. We have existing mechanisms. We have a constitution that is very robust,” saad ni Parlade.

“Maybe we need some reforms. There are provisions in the Constitutions that’s probably already obsolete. Maybe that’s one of the things that we should look at,” dagdag nito.

Tinawag naman ni Senador Risa Hontiveros na ‘big offensive jokes’ ang hakbang sa gitna anya na maraming Pinoy ang namamatay sa COVID 19.

“This is yet another distraction from the real crisis we are facing today, which is the coronavirus pandemic. The public needs good healthcare and jobs, and that requires good governance not a so-called ‘rev-gov,'” saad ni Hontiveros.

Ipinakita naman nina Senador Nancy Binay at Senador Sonny Angara ang pagtutol sa panawagan sa pagtweet ng mga hashtag na #noTOREvGov at #yestotheConstitution.

Samantala, ipinaalala ni Senate President Tito Sotto na ang pagsunod sa rule of law ang pinakaligtas na gabay para sa mas maayos na Pilipinas.

“Let us turn off this ‘revolution noise’ and we will be okay,” diin ni Sotto.

Sa panig ni Senador Win Gatchalian, sinabi nitong nais lamang sumipsip kay Pangulong Duterte ang grupong nagsusulong ng Revolutionary government.

“Again, babalik ako sa pangalan nila, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte National Executive Council. Ang initial reaction ko, tong grupo na ito ay gustong mapalapit sa ating Pangulo at gustong sumipsip sa ating Pangulo.” saad ni Gatchalian.
